Easy Refrigerator Pickles (Regular and Spicy)

This makes 3 quart jars of pickles. All of the numbers of cucumbers through vinegar are totals, so if you don’t have the full amount, the recipe is divided by 3. To make them spicy, make the regular recipe and add the ingredients under “Spicy.”

Ingredients for Regular Base

· 12 Pickling Cucumbers (Small/Medium Size)

· 12 cloves of garlic

· 3 tbs of Dill (Dried or fresh)

· 3 tbs of Whole Black Peppercorns

· Salt (1.5 Tbs per quart)

· Distilled Vinegar (Fill half of jar)

· Water (Fill half of jar)

Extra Spicy Ingredients:

· 2 Jalapeños

· 2 Tsp Colonial Seasoning

· 2 Tsp Red Peppercorns

· 1 Tsp Black Garlic

Instructiuons

1. Cut the cucumbers into pickle spears.

2. Smash the garlic.

3. Add 1.5 tbs of Flaky Kosher Salt.

4. Tightly pack the cucumbers into the quart jars.

5. Add the Dill and Black Peppercorns

6. To make them spicy, add chopped jalapenos, colonial (or Cajun) seasoning, pink peppercorns, and black garlic.

7. Seal, Shake, Refrigerate for 3 days.

8. Enjoy and store in the refrigerator.
